Size & fit guide

HOME / STORIES & GUIDES

Find your own fit.

Letter sizes are only a starting point. Compare the measurements of the individual style with a similar garment you already enjoy wearing.

01 / THE INDIVIDUAL STYLE

Start with its own measurements.

Open Details on the product page, or use View size guide when a reviewed chart is available. Check the chart’s units and the names of the measurement points before comparing sizes.

A garment chart describes the clothing; it is not automatically a body-measurement chart. Chest, waist or hip values may be presented as a width or a circumference. If the measurement method is unclear, ask us before converting or doubling a value.

Product charts may include a measurement tolerance or a suggested-weight range. Use those notes as guidance for that particular style, alongside its actual dimensions and your preferred fit.

02 / USE A FAMILIAR GARMENT

Compare like with like.

  1. Choose a similar garment you already like wearing: a T-shirt for a T-shirt, trousers for trousers, or a jacket for a jacket.
  2. Lay it on a flat surface and smooth it without pulling the fabric out of shape.
  3. Compare the same points and measurement method used in the product chart. Keep widths and circumferences distinct.
  4. Note the differences in length and room, then consider whether you want a closer or more relaxed result.

Keep the units consistent. One inch equals 2.54 centimetres. Check the chart’s labels rather than assuming every measurement uses the same unit.

03 / THE POINTS TO CHECK

A few comparisons make a difference.

Compare these points when they appear in the individual product chart
Garment Useful comparisons Check first
T-shirts & polos Chest, shoulder, body length and sleeve Whether chest is a flat width or circumference; how body length is taken
Trousers & shorts Waist, hips, length and leg opening Whether a waistband is measured relaxed or stretched; whether length is total length or inseam
Jackets Chest, shoulder, body length and sleeve The room needed for the clothing you plan to wear underneath

These are points to look for, not one measurement method for every product. Use the chart supplied for your chosen style; if the points or method are not specified, ask our team.

04 / YOUR PREFERRED SHAPE

The same letter can feel different.

A regular or relaxed fit description helps describe a silhouette, but it does not replace the garment’s dimensions. Compare the supplied measurements even when you normally choose the same letter size.

Think about how you will wear the piece: tucked or untucked, on its own or over another layer. A campaign photograph can suggest a combination; it cannot confirm how a size will fit your body.

For a wholesale selection, review the size range for each style and send the quantities by size and colour. Do not apply one product’s chart to every item in a bulk order.

05 / ASK BEFORE ORDERING

If a measurement is missing, let us help.

Send the product link or style reference, the colour and size you are considering, and the specific measurement you need. A comparison with a similar garment you own can help explain your preferred result.
