One wardrobe. More ways to wear it.
The MAXNEW idea of Creative Basic starts with simple pieces, considered silhouettes and combinations that move between different parts of your day.
Choosing ?

01 / YOUR STARTING POINT
Begin with a piece you know.
A favourite T-shirt, a polo or an easy pair of trousers can be the starting point for several outfits. Decide what the day calls for, then build around the piece rather than replacing the whole combination.
In the MAXNEW campaign, a pale jacket is worn open over a neutral T-shirt with shorts. The repeated light tones bring the pieces together, while the open layer keeps the T-shirt visible. You can use that same approach with clothing you already own.
02 / SILHOUETTE
Change the balance.
Look at how the top and bottom work together: where the hem ends, how much room a layer adds and whether the trouser or short shape feels right for the combination. Try one change at a time so you can see what it does.
When adding a jacket, compare its garment measurements with the layer you plan to wear underneath. Choose the individual style’s sizing information rather than automatically sizing up or assuming the same letter size will fit across categories.

Keep the foundation. Change the context.
Everyday ease
Start with a T-shirt and shorts. Repeat a neutral tone or let a printed top become the main detail.
Explore T-shirts →A more considered combination
Try a polo with trousers. Compare collar detail, hem length and trouser shape to find a balance you enjoy.
Explore polos →An extra layer
Add a jacket over a familiar top. Check the sleeve and body measurements for the way you want to wear it.

Choose what matters to you.
A pocket, collar edge, print or fabric composition can change how you read a simple piece. Look closely at the product photographs and reviewed details, then compare the colours and sizes offered for that particular style.
Our brand’s “Creative Basic” approach is an invitation to combine simple clothing in your own way. It is not a uniform fit or fabric specification across every product.
