HOME / STORIES & GUIDES

A closer look at fabric and care.

Start with the composition, look at the individual garment and keep its care label close. A practical guide to reading the details before you choose.

01 / READ THE DETAILS

Composition is a starting point.

The fabric composition tells you which fibres are listed for a particular garment and their proportions. A single-fibre label and a blend describe different compositions; neither is a complete description of the finished piece.

Read the product’s Materials + Care information alongside its images and garment measurements. A fibre percentage alone does not tell you the fabric weight, finish, stretch recovery, lining or how the garment will feel on you. Ask our team when any of those details matter to your choice.

Names such as “cotton blend” describe a broad group. Compare the actual percentages supplied for the individual product rather than assuming that every item in a category uses the same fabric.

02 / FROM THE COLLECTION

Three compositions to compare.

These examples use the reviewed information for the linked products. Open the individual style to check its colours, sizing and available care information. Ask our team if any instructions are missing.

03 / AFTER YOU CHOOSE

Let the garment’s label lead.

Care instructions belong to the finished garment. Check its attached label before washing, drying, ironing or arranging professional cleaning; do not apply the instructions from another product just because its fibre composition sounds similar.

  1. Read the complete label, including any separate instructions for colour, decoration or trims.
  2. Compare it with the product’s care information. If anything appears inconsistent or unclear, pause and ask us before treating the garment.
  3. Keep the product reference and a clear photograph of the label when asking a care question.

Missing care information is a reason to ask. We will help confirm the relevant instructions instead of recommending one wash temperature for the entire collection.

04 / FOR BUSINESS BUYERS

Confirm the specification you need.

For a larger selection, send the product links or style references, colours, sizes, quantities and delivery destination. Tell us if fabric weight, exact composition, construction or a sample is important to your decision.

Our team confirms availability, preparation, minimum quantities, pricing and delivery terms with the enquiry. A quotation request does not place an order or promise a particular fabric, certification or customisation service.
